The 73rd edition of the Critérium du Dauphiné will be held from Sunday 30 May to Sunday 6 June. Dating back to 1947, the race takes place in the Dauphiné region in southeastern France. Billed as one the last big showdowns before La Grande Boucle, the 2021 Critérium du Dauphiné takes in a midweek ITT and three summit finishes in the final weekend. (Slideshow route/profile)
Daniel Felipe Martínez is title holder. The Colombian won last year’s Dauphiné ahead of Thibaut Pinot and Guillaume Martin.
The 2020 edition was shortened to five stage. Probably, the three stages that were taken out will re-appear in this year’s race.
