Race report
The six men breakaway, featuring Bakelants, Niv, Bais, Albanese, Rivi and Velasco, opens a gap of 3 minutes.
The first circuit features three climbs to Pitoro. On two occasions Albanese is the first rider over the summit and the Italian takes the KOM jersey.
