BinckBank Tour 2018 Stage 5: Cort wins three-up sprint, Mohoric still leader
The BinckBank Tour's 5th stage travels on flat to slightly rolling roads to a false flat arrival in Lanaken. A bunch sprint? No way. Magnus Cort brings the break of the day home ahead of young Julius van den Berg and Alexis Gougeard. Matej Mohoric remains in the overall lead. (Slideshow route/profile)

Race report
Magnus Cort, Julius van den Berg and Jonas Rickaert open up a gap before Alexis Gougeard rejoins them. The four race to a maximum lead of almost 5 minutes.
Rickaert punctures 6 kms before the line when the gap is still 1.30 and in the ensuing sprint Cort powers to the win. Van den Berg, Dutch National Champion Under–23, finishes in second and Gougeard in third.
With the hills of Amstel Gold Race on tomorrow’s menu, Matej Mohoric is still the overall leader.
