Departure town and arrival town are quite similar – that is, if you look at the figures. Both villages have populations of 3000 and both have an area of about 12 to 13 square kilometers. Apart from that, both Ossingen and Büren an der Aare are located in a hilly to flat region. Which means, just like yesterday, odds are on this leg is going to explode in a bunch sprint.
Of course it’s not 100% alike. Hills today are a little steeper and there are slightly more of them as well: two in the 3rd category and two in category 4.
The stage closes with a local circuit near Büren an der Aare. After passing the finish line for the first time riders are away for a final spin of 30 kilometres.
The stage starts at 12:29 (CET) and the finish is expected around 17:05.
