Giro 2014: Stage 21 Favourites: Sprint finale in Trieste!
Sunday, June 1st - The Giro comes to an end in Tour de France style, with a circuit and a sprint in the streets of Trieste. (Slideshow route/profile)
Any sprinter to have survived the heavy climbing of the final week deserves a stage win – but only 1 will get to bow out in style. Points are also up for grabs and it will be interesting to see if one of the fast men can win the red jersey.
Those looking to contend will be Frenchman Nacer Bouhanni and the evergreen Italian Alessandro Pettachi, who would love to bow out of what is likely his last Giro with a stage win.
