Eneco Tour 2014: Guardini takes stage and leader’s jersey

The 1st stage in the Dutch/Belgium Eneco Tour is in the ultra-flat province of Zeeland. Start and finish was in Terneuzen and after 183 kilometres Italian Andrea Guardini was fastest in the bunch sprint. Homerider Tom Dumoulin tried to break free in the final kilometre, but was caught meters from the finish line. There was break away of three - De Vreese, Smukukis en Van Bilsen, and they were reeled in at 17 kilometres. (Slideshow route/profile)
