Eneco Tour 2014 Route stage 3: ITT in Breda (NL)

Eneco Tour 2014 BredaWednesday, August 13 - Stage 3 of the Eneco Tour 2014 is an individual time trial of 9.6 kilometers in city Breda. It is a fast track with a few technical parts in it. (Slideshow route/profile)

The 1st stage of the 2011 Eneco Tour saw the peloton traverse Breda in a ride from Oosterhout to Sint Willebrord, ultimately won by André Greipel. In 2013 Breda welcomed the pack again, this time for a Ster ZLM Toer finish. In a finale for fast men homerider Theo Bos outsprinted Marcel Kittel and André Greipel.

In 2014 the city of 170.000 hosts the only individual time trial of the Eneco Tour. The 9.6 kilometres track is ideally suited for powerriders.

Last edition, the Eneco Tour time trial was 13.2 kilometres in length and the track was peppered with a few climbs. Back then Sylvain Chavanel outpowered home favourite Tom Dumoulin by 4 seconds.
