Simon Yates won the exciting Turin stage, while Richard Carapaz moved into the pink jersey. The riders enter the Alps in the next stage. The race takes in three huge climbs in the last 80 kilometres, including the finish climb to Cogne. After Monday’s rest day, the Giro continues with two more days in the high mountains. Tuesday’s test travels over the Mortirolo and the steep Passo di Santa Christina before finishing downhill in Aprica.
