Stages to Rimini are likely to end in a bunch sprint, both in the Giro and the Tirreno-Adriatico. The coastal town saw its last pro peloton in the 2015 edition of the Tirreno. At the end of a rain-soaked race it was Peter Sagan who took the spoils.
The route of stage 11 is extremely flat. Just one 4th category climb with 70 kilometres remaining and a number of false flat sections. Gentlemen sprinters, on your marks… ready… set… go!
