Race report
Gulnaz Khatuntseva and Anne van Rooijen attack early on to open up a 3 minutes gap. The duo is brought back with 65 kilometres to go.
Lotte Kopecky attacks after the Baneberg with Lianne Lippert, Kasia Niewiadom and Anna Henderson in her wheel. But without ever opening a real gap.
Grace Brown jumps clear in the last Kemmelberg ascent, but a reduced peloton brings her back. The ensuing attacks are neutralised.
Grace Brown gives it a go inside the last 3.5 kilometres, but she is caught before the flamme rouge.
Elisa Balsamo outsprints title defender Marianne Vos, while Maria Giulia Confalonieri crosses the line in third position.
