Race report
Jonas Rickaert and Geraint Thomas slip away after 10 kilometres of hard racing. The duo puts 7 minutes into the peloton.
Rickaert is brought back as soon as the riders enter the Houffalize circuit. Thomas forges on alone after the Côte de Saint-Roch before he is brought back when Mohoric, Colbrelli and Hirschi attack. The three open up a 1 minute gap.
Colbrelli heads out alone shortly before Dumoulin and Campenaerts rejoin the other two. Wellens, Stuyven and Benoot bridge across also.
Colbrelli gains three times a bonus of 3 seconds in the Golden Kilometre en he powers on to victory. He moves into the overall race lead also.
