Race report
In a fast opening Hugo Houle, Jack Bauer and Casper Pedersen slip away just before the first hills. The trio opens a maximum gap of 3 minutes.
Houle drops back with 30 kilometres remaining. The other two are caught 11 kilometres before the line.
Asgreen loses contact by a mechanical inside the last 9 kilometres, while Bissegger can’t follow the pace.
Caleb Ewan powers to victory in the sprint of a reduced peloton.
Stefan Küng moves up from third place to the first position.
