Today’s departure town is about 50 kilometers down the coast from Naseem Garden where yesterday’s stage finished. Upon leaving Al Bustan, the bunch heads north to the capital Muscat. From there the riders turn inland and begin the journey south taking in an intermediate sprint in Al Salil and a feed zone in Al Fleij.
While steep, rocky hills are visible to the left and right, that’s for another day, as riders enjoy a day in the valley with a stage profile more typical to the recent Tour of Qatar.
The sprinters will be licking their lips for this one before the Tour starts to get bumpy!
The stage starts at 12:35 (GST) and the finish is scheduled around 16:10.
