Race report
The riders go slow in the first kilometres after kilometre 0 in protest of the dangerous finale of stage 3.
Alpecin-Fenix goes to the front after 10 kilometres to up the pace. A few kilometres later Brent Van Moer and Pierre-Luc Périchon jump off the front. The duo puts 3 minutes into the peloton.
Van Moer heads out alone inside the last 15 kilometres. At first he widens the gap to more than 1 minute, but it comes down gradually in the last 5 kilometres.
The young Belgian is caught with 200 metres to go before Mark Cavendish powers to his big comeback victory.
Mathieu van der Poel keeps the yellow jersey.
