Race report
Straight from the gun a group of seven riders breaks clear. Alexis Gougeard, Andrej Grivko, Mirco Maestri, Luca Wackermann, Iuri Filosi, Kohei Uchima and Mattia Frappo race to a lead of almost 4 minutes.
Filosi is the last rider to be reeled in with 20 kms remaining.
A crash in the finale takes down Gaviria and in the ensuing sprint nobody can touch Peter Sagan. Two bike lengths victory.
