Giro rider Vincenzo NibaliAt Friday May 6th, the startlist of the 99th Giro d'Italia will be signed by 198 riders. The race features 22 teams with 9 riders. All World Tour teams will leave from Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, plus a few teams that are offered a wild card. Vincenzo Nibali, winner in 2013, Alejandro Valverde, Marcel Kittel, Mikel Landa, Rigoberto Uran and Rafal Majka are among the most prominent contenders.
