Giro 2015: Stage 9 Favourites - For hilly specialists

Stage 9 on the Giro d’Italia is tailor made for riders who feel at ease on hilly terrain as the ride features plenty of short climbs. Halfway are two longer ascents, but they will not influence the finale. The last top is crested with 10 kilometres left and following the drop the arrival is slightly uphill also. Men to watch will be Philippe Gilbert, Tom-Jelte Slagter, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Esteban Chaves, Andrey Amador, Enrico Battaglin, Davide Malacarne and Gianluca Brambilla.
