Vuelta 2017: Withdrawals

In the 2017 edition of La Vuelta 37 riders abandoned the race. The most prominent withdrawals were John Degenkolb, Warren Barguil, Domenico Pozzovivio, Rohan Dennis and David de la Cruz. (Slideshow route/profile)

Anass Ait El Abdia was the first rider to abandon the race. The Moroccan had to withdraw as early as stage 2 due to a crash he suffered.

    Avid fan but stage 18 is unwatchable due to the noise of the motor bikes cars etc. I can barely hear the commentators especially with their accents.
