Vuelta 2016 Stage 1: Sky takes team time trial, Peter Kennaugh first red jersey

At 27.8 kilometres, the 2016 Vuelta a España opens with a flat team trial. Sky bests Movistar with a marginal gain. As Peter Kennaugh is the first to cross the line the 27-years old Briton takes the red jersey. Quintana, Valverde and Froome finish all in the same time, thus putting 52 seconds into Contador.
