The 74th Tour de Romandie is on the calendar from Tuesday 28 April to Sunday 3 May. The Swiss race dates back to 1947, while the 2020 edition includes an elevation gain of approximately 14,000 metres. The 2nd stage offers a first taste of the upcoming World Championships road race and the Queen Stage on the penultimate day finishes atop a 20 kilometres climb. The race kick offs with a prologue to conclude with an individual time trial.
Primoz Roglic is title holder. Last year, the Slovene won three out of six stages. Rui Costa and Geraint Thomas rounded out the podium.
