Tour de France 2020: Withdrawals

The 107th edition of the Tour de France set off in Nice with 176 contestants. Egan Bernal, Bauke Mollema and Romain Bardet were the GC contenders who did not make it to Paris.

John Degenkolb was the first rider to leave the 2020 Tour de France. He finished 2 minutes outside of the time limit in the wet and slippery 1st stage after having endured multiple crashes, while Rafael Valls and Philippe Gilbert were forced to abandon the race with injuries.
