Race report
Katia Ragusa edges away from the peloton after 30 kilometres before Anastasia Carbonari and Kylie Waterreus bridges across to her. Federica Piergiovanni, Pauline Allin and Silvia Zanardi make it six at the front. They carve out a lead of 2 minutes.
Waterreus is dropped on the first time up the Wall of Huy, while Anna Shackley, Alena Amialusik, Elise Chabbey, Leah Thomas, Jelena Eric, Esmée Peperkamp, Amanda Spratt, Anouska Koster, Krista Doebel-Hickock and Yara Kastelijn bridge across later.
The lead group desintegrates on the Côte de Cherave before the lead group is down to ten riders after the second time Wall of Huy.
Halfway up the last climb time Côte de Cherave the last attackers are caught by an elite group.
Van Vleuten opens a small gap on the steepest part of the Wallof Huy. Cavalli comes crawling back to her wheel. She sits there until she overhauls Van Vleuten in the last 30 metres.
