The 82nd edition of Gent-Wevelgem is played out on Sunday 29 March. The race dates from 1934 and features cobbles, hills and unpaved roads. Opened by the E3 BinckBank Classic and followed by Dwars door Vlaanderen and the Tour of Flanders, Gent-Wevelgem is the second race in the so called Flemish Week. The four Classics are held within a ten days period. Gent-Wevelgem 2020 adds up to 254.5 kilometres, while this year’s novelty will be a start at the Grote Markt in Ypres. (Slideshow route/profile)
Last year, Alexander Kristoff outsprinted John Degenkolb and Oliver Naesen.
