Giro 2015: Stage 20 Favourites - Who’s boss?

Spectacle is assured in the Queen Stage of the 2015 Giro. The final 40 kilometres are a mountain goats Walhalla with the steep and partly unpaved Finestre and next the closing climb up to ski-resort Sestriere. Who’s boss? Contador will want it to be him, that’s for sure. (Slideshow route/profile)

Without a doubt El Pistolero aims for glory in this beauty of a stage. The Colle delle Finestre is at an elevation of 2,178 metres. The climb totals 18.4 kilometres and the last 7.8 kilometres are unpaved, going up at a 9.2% grade. Contador in good form will want to make a statement an attack here, then consolidate in the drop and underline who’s boss on the final climb of the Giro.

Competition will come from the likes of Mikel Landa, Steven Kruijswijk, Ryder Hesjedal, Fabio Aru, Andrey Amador and Yuri Trofimov. They are the best climbers in the Giro
