Sunday ... September - The road race at the Worlds runs through the Alpine foothills in and around Zürich. It's a tough course of 273.9 kilometres with an accumulated elevation of 4,470 metres. Most climbing is done in the local loop, measuring 26.8 kilometres and incorporating two significant climbs and several smaller punches. The riders are to take on the circuit seven times.
