Tour of Lombardy 2016: Chaves outsprints Uran and Rosa to take his first Monument

The Tour of Lombardy is the toughest in years. At the penultimate climb, the Selvino, Chaves, Uran, Bardet and Rosa attack in the front group. At the steep climb into the old town of Bergamo Bardet is dropped, while Chaves is fastest on the line.

Saturday, October 1 - The Tour of Lombardy celebrates edition 110 with a 241 kilometres route featuring 4,400 vertical metres. By far the most climbing is in the second half of the race, while the finale is marked by a steep climb in arrival place Bergamo. Downhill finish.
