Race report
It’s a brutal fight to get in the breakaway on the Passo Sommo. Eventually, Donovan, De Bod, Carr, Mühlberger, Pedrero, Samitier, Bouchard, Frigo, Pellizzari, Mulubrhan, Rodríguez, Howson, Træen and Konrad make it. The thirteen open up a lead of more than 4 minutes.
Mühlberger and Pellizzari head out together on the Passo di Pramadiccio. Træen rejoins them, after which young Pellizzari goes solo with 5 kilolometres left to climb.
The three come together on descent before Mühlberger sprintt to triumh in the streets of Predazzo.
The peloton comes home 3.22 minutes later. Geoghegan Hart keeps the leader’s jersey.
