Omega Pharma-Quickstep and Orica Greenedge are forming quite the rivalry in team time trials. It was the Belgian outfit who won out today, powering to the win 11 seconds faster than the Australian team. Movistar finished 7 seconds further back in 3rd.
Mark Cavendish was first over the line in San Vincenzo and takes the leaders jersey with his teammates, including GC favourites Uran and Kwiatkowski, piled up behind him on GC.
Big GC losers today were Cadel Evans and Chris Horner, while Nairo Quintana and Alberto Contador will be quite pleased.
