Last year, the stage starting in Riemst and finishing in Sittard/Geleen was the final stage of the Eneco Tour. Just like in 2015 the route featured hills such as Camerig, Gulperberg and Eyserbosweg, famous from Amstel Gold Race. The journey is set to conclude with two local laps of 22.4 kilometres.
Edition 2014 saw Guillaume Van Keirsbulck taking the stage to Sittard/Geleen, while Tim Wellens went on to win the overall.
