Race report
After the start in Chantilly Chris Froome pays a visit to the team car to collect beer bottles for of his team-mates. Later on they toast with champagne. Yes, it’s party time in La Grande Boucle.
Once in Paris Burghardt, Costa, Craddock, Teklehaimanot, Roy, Feillu, Gougeard and Barta break clear. Burghardt gets dropped after a mechanical, while Teklehaimanot goes solo with 15 kms remaining.
When the pack is bunched again Lutsenko attacks and Van Avermaet bridges the gap. With one lap to go it’s all together again.
Greipel outsprints Sagan and Kristoff on the Champs-Elysees.
