Giro Rosa 2021 Route stage 6: Colico - Colico
Which makes this the longest stage of the 2021 Giro d’Italia Donne.
The route may be running around a lake, but this does not necesarrily imply that the course is flat. Far from it. Lake Como is surrounded by mountains that reach an elevation of hundreds of metres.
The 6th stage is partly played out on the roads of the Tour of Lombardy, but in the opposite direction and avoiding the longer climbs. After the riders move through Lecco the last 45 kilometres take place on undulating terrain.
The race is expected to finish around 15.40 local time (CEST).
