Giro Rosa 2021 Route stage 1: Fossano - Cuneo

Friday 2 July - The Giro d'Italia Donne - previously, Giro Rosa - kicks off with a team time trial of 26.7 kilometres. Virtually the entire route runs false flat uphill.

The race begins with a short and rolling downhill before an uphill kicker takes the team onto an extended false flat. The gradient is extremely shallow, approximately 1%, for some 20 kilometres before the finale in Cuneo is slightly steeper.

The 2020 Giro Rosa started with a flat team time trial of 16.8 kilometres. Trek-Segafredo took the spoils ahead of Boels Dolmans (now SD Worx) and Mitchelton-Scott (now Team BikeExchange).
