Anna van der Breggen won the 32nd edition of the Giro Donne to raise her total to four victories. Her team mates Ashleigh Moolman and Demi Vollering rounded out the podium, while Van der Breggen, Marianne Vos and Lorena Wiebes all won two stages. The race started on Friday 2 July 2021 and finished on Sunday 11 July.

Rivera outsprints Deignan, Van der Breggen seals GC triumph
The breakaway in the last stage of the Giro Donne features maglia rosa Anna van der Breggen, Lucinda Brand, Lizzie Deignan, Elise Chabbey and Coryn Rivera. The race comes down to a sprint with Rivera besting Deignan and Chabbey. Van der Breggen comes home in fourth psition to seal the overall victory.

At 155 kilometres, the 6th stage is the longest of this Giro Donne edition. The peloton reels in Elisa Longo Borghini and Ashleigh Moolman with 15 kilometres remaining. Emma Norsgaard outsprints Coryn Rivera and Marianne Vos in Colico, while Anna van der Breggen stays in pink.
