Strade BiancheAnna van der Breggen won the 4th edition of the Strade Bianche Donne ahead of Kasia Nieuwiadoma and Elisa Longo Borghini. In rainy and chilly condition the Dutch rider soloed to victory. The race was held on the 3rd of February 2018. (Slideshow route/profile)

At 136 kilometres, the women's Strade Bianche takes 31.4 kilometres on mud roads. Mud, yes, as it is rainy and chilly in Tuscany. Anna van der Breggen attacks with Elisa Longo Borghini on the penultimate unpaved sector. The Olympic Champion leaves the title defender alone to solo to victory an impressive victory.

Saturday, 3 March 2018 - The women's Strade Bianche, or Strade Bianche Donne, amounts to 136 kilometres with almost a quarter on gravel roads. The riders hit eight 'sterrati' with a total distance of 31.4 kilometres. The finish lies at the end of a sharp climb to the Piazza del Campo in Siena.
