Edition 74 of Dwars door Vlaanderen – or, in English, Across Flanders – will be held on Wednesday the 3rd of March 2019. In recent years the riders left from Roeselare, while the finish has always been in Waregem. The route features a lot of famous Flemish hills, so the race is a perfect preparation for the Tour of Flanders, which is held three days later. (Slideshow route/profile)
In 2018, Yves Lampaert won Dwars door Vlaanderen for the second year in a row. He won a five-up sprint ahead of Mike Teunissen and Sep Vanmarcke.
