Tour of Qatar 2014 Results 1st stage - Niki Terpstra wins
The 1st stage of the 2014 Tour of Qatar is won by Dutchmen Niki Terpstra. He was the best in the sprint of a break away group.
In stage 1 riders drove from Al Wakra to Dukhan Beach over 135.5 flat kilometers.
The breack away group managed to escape the bunch at 30 kilometers from the finish. Terpstra's team mate Tom Boonen was the beste in the bunch sprint.
