Tour Down Under 2015
The 2015 UCI World Tour season opened on 20 January in South Australia with the Tour Down Under. The six-day stage race was won by Rohan Dennis and marked the retirement of former Tour de France-winner Cadel Evans, who finished third in his farewell World Tour-race.

Results stage 6 - Wippert takes final stage, Dennis GC
Young Dutchmen Wouter Wippert sprints to victory in the final stage in the Tour Down Under. A large crash in the penultimate round of the Adelaide-criterion splits the field. Marcel Kittel is one of the victims and can forget about the stage win. Rohan Dennis is safe and retains his 2 second lead over Richie Porte. The 24 year old Australian wins the overall.Read more »
Results stage 5 - Porte wins at Willunga Hill
Like last year, wins Richie Porte on Willunga Hill. And like last year, it is not enough to take the lead. Dennis finishes at 9 seconds and continues to lead the overall. Evans and Dumoulin are 16 seconds down, meaning Porte is GC’s runner-up, 2 seconds behind Dennis. .Read more »
Results stage 4 - Sprint-victory Steele Von Hoff
Steele Von Hoff is the fastest rider in the 145 kilometres stage to Mount Barker. The name sounds like an uphill finish, but far from it. Stage 4 explodes in a bunch sprint marred by a crash. Daryl Impey comes in second and moves up in the overall. Rohan Dennis continues to lead.Read more »
Results stage 3 - Rohan Dennis seizes power
The 3rd stage boils down to the 1.2 kilometres finish climb at 9.9%. Under the flag of the last kilometer is Rohan Dennis attacks en he solos to victory. Tom Dumoulin and Richie Porte are chasing, while good old Cadel Evans attacks in the final metres to claim second place.Read more »
Results stage 2 - Lobato sprints to victory
Leading from Unley to Stirling, stage 2 culminates in a bunch sprint of 49 riders. All GC-men try to gain bonification seconds, but it’s Juan José Lobato taking the win. Tom Dumoulin is fourth and Cadel Evans fifth, so they both miss out on seconds.Read more »
