The checkpoint is with 15 kilometres done. Orica GreenEdge and Sky are fastest in 16'09", Katusha is third in 16'19". FDJ drops by in 16'23" and Etixx in 16'24".

Both Sky and Orica finish in 21'19", with the black squad being 0'63 seconds faster. Geraint Thomas will wear the leader's jersey tomorrow.

Katusha (Spilak) makes it in 21'24", Etixx (Uran) in 21'33" and Astana (Nibali) in 21'36". BMC (Dennis) scores 21'38". FDJ (Pinot) finishes in 21'41" and IAM (Mathias Frank) in 21'43". Cannondale (Hesjedal) crosses the line in 21'59", just like Movistar (Quintana). Lampre (Rui Costa) makes it in 22'00".
