Tour de Pologne 2020 Route stage 1: Chorzów - Katowice
The route includes a big loop to the northeast of the cities Chorzów and Katowice. On rolling roads this should be a gentle opener to the Tour de Pologne. The only KOM points of the day are available on the 16.3 kilometres finish circuit. It is a modest climb of 450 metres at 3.6%.
The route is tailor-made for a bunch sprint. Last year, Luka Mezgec won the stage to Katowice.
The finish runs slightly downhill finish, while the race sees a big u-turn in the ultimate kilometre.
