Tirreno-Adriatico 2022 Route stage 2: Camaiore - Sovicille
The first 90 kilometres are as flat as can be, while the second part of the route is more lumpy. No cause for worry for the fast men though. The hardest climb of the day goes to La Pineta - 4.8 kilometres at 5.4% -, and the summit is crested with almost 60 kilometres remaining.
Two more shallow climbs appear in the remainder of the race. The first goes to Chiusdino (where the intermediate sprint is) and the second is more of a false flat with its highest point 15 kilometres before the finish.
Nothing should stand in the way of a royal sprint finish. The last 3 kilometres run on a wide and straight road.
The first three riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds, while the intermediate sprint comes with 3, 2 and 1 seconds.
