In a flat 10.1 kilometres ITT Greg Van Avermaet holds on to his lead and he wins the 2016 Tirreno-Adriatico with the tiniest of margins over Peter Sagan: 1 second. The stage victor is Fabian Cancellara after a master class time trialing. (Slideshow route/profile)
