Tirreno - Adriatico 2014

Tirenno - Adriatico 2014The 49th edition of Tirreno-Adriatico will begin on March 12th in Donoratico and ends seven days later in San Benedetto del Tronto. The race kicks off with a team time trial and closes with an individual time trial. Sandwiched between this are three flat stages and two mountain stages. (Slideshow route/profile)

The ‘Race of the Two Seas’ is played out between Italy’s Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts. An important race in itself, Tirreno-Adriatico also reveals who the form riders are before the first major classic of the season, Milan-San Remo.
