Giro Rosa 2017
Olympic Champion Anna van der Breggen won the 10th edition of the Giro Rosa ahead of Elisa Longo Borghini and Annemiek van Vleuten. It was the second Giro Rosa-win for Van der Breggen. Van Vleuten finished as the Queen of the Mountains. The 10-day stage was played out from 30 June until 9 July 2017.

The last stage of the Giro Rosa is a criterium that's played out on a hilly route. The final lap features a 5.6 kilometres climb at 6.4%, which where the best riders attack. Megan Guarnier sprints to victory, while Anna van der Breggen wins the overall classification.Read more »
Bastianelli sprints to victory, Van der Breggen retains in maglia rosa
The 9th stage of the Giro Rosa is played out on a route with hills in the first half and a pan-flat finale. Marta Bastianelli outsprints Lotta Lepistö and Giorgia Bronzini, while a lot of fast finishers were dropped in the hilly opening. Lucinda Brand solos to victory, Van der Breggen still in pink
At 141.8 kilometres, stage 8 in the Giro Rosa is the Queen Stage, featuring a tough three staged climb with the summit 28 kilometres from the line. Tetyana Riabchenko is first to crest, but Lucinda Brand chases her down in the last kilometres before the Dutch rider leaves the Ukrainian alone. Solo victory for Brand, while her compatriot Van der Breggen retains in the maglia rosa.Read more »
Gutierrez outsprints front group, Van der Breggen holds on to pink
On a hilly course between Isernia and Baronissi, the 7th stage of the Giro Rosa amounts to 142 hilly kilometres. A break of twelve riders holds on to the line with Sheyla Gutierrez sprinting to victory ahead of Soraya Paladin and Eugenia Bujak. Anna van der Breggen stays in pink.Read more »
