The route of the 6th stage in the Giro d'Italia runs on a 217 kilometres course to a finale that's tailor made for punchers. The last 20 kilometres take in a series of climbs, the first one is the Fuscaldo - 2 kilometres at 6.8%. With 7 kilometres remaining a 1 kilometres section at 5.9% continues on a false flat before a drop leads to the final run up to the finish line. The last 2 kilometres are averaging 5,3%, while the hill is getting steeper and the last 750 metres go up at 8%.
