Dubai Tour 2018
Elia Vivani won the overall classification in the 5th edition of the Dubai Tour ahead of Magnus Cort Nielsen and Sonny Colbrelli. Furthermore, the Italian took two stages, while Dylan Groenewegen was fastest in the first sprint of the race. Sonny Colbrelli climbed to victory at the steep Hatta Dam.

Viviani seals the deal and sprints to stage and overall victory
The final stage of the Dubai Tour is a race on the flat in Dubai City. Elia Viviani sprints to victory, thus cementing his overall lead and winning GC ahead of Magnus Cort and Sonny Colbrelli.Read more »
Colbrelli wins at Hatta Dam, 19-year old McNulty just misses out on solo-victory
Stage 4 at the Dubai Tour amounts to 172 kilometres. The race ends at the Hatta Dam after a 1 kilometre climb with ramps of up to 17% in the last metres. That's where a solo by 19-year old Brandon McNulty dramatically ends before Sonny Colbrelli sprints to victory ahead of Magnus Cort and Timo Roosen. Cavendish sprints to win in 3rd stage, Viviani new leader
The 3rd stage of the Dubai Tour takes the riders across the Arabian Peninsula to finish in Fujairah, the only emirate on the Gulf of Oman. The race boils down to a bunch sprint with Mark Cavendish outgunning Nacer Bouhanni and Marcel Kittel. Race leader Dylan Groenewegen is docked 20 seconds for drafting and the blue jersey goes to Elia Viviani.Read more »
Viviani outsprints Groenewegen in 2nd stage - Dutchman still leader
The 2nd stage of the Dubai Tour runs runs along the Persian Gulf to Ras al Khaimah, an emirate south of Dubai. Elia Viviani powers to the win, while leader Dylan Groenewegen remains on top after a late charge, although Viviani is just 2 seconds in arrears.Read more »
Groenewegen outsprints all fast men to take overall lead
The 1st stage of the Dubai Tour amounts to 167 kilometres on the flat. The sprint finale at the archipelago Palm Jumeirah is as chaotic as it is mind blowing with Dylan Groenewegen outgunning Magnus Cort on the line.
