Race report
Matej Mohoric, Pawel Bernas and Adrian Kurek are in the breakaway. The gap was much wider, but with Giant leading the chase for Kittel it is down to 1 minute with 60 kms left.
It was in 2011 the German sprinter won his first UCI-World Tour race in Warsaw.
Kurek and Mohoric lave left Bernas with two laps to go, but when the bell rings for the last round their story is over also. Patrick Gretsch counter-attacks with Vengard Breen. Theirs is a short story as they are reeled in with 11 km’s left.
The finale is marked by twists and turns and despite an attack by Caleb Ewan, Marcel Kittel powers to victory.
