Tour de France 2014: Withdrawals

The Tour de France of 2014 faced in the first five days withdrawals of two former winners (Chris Froome and Andy Schleck) and a 25-fold stage winner (Mark Cavendish). The remaining former winner Alberto Contador abandoned after a hard crash in the 10th stage.

    Surprised and saddened to note some big names I used to see on the tour in the past like Cadel Evans, Nairo Quintana, Tom Boonen, Daniel Martin Roman Kreuziger and Robert Gesink.will not be taking part in this edition of the tour. Hope you will be regulars in the starting line up next year.
