Tour de France 2014 Favourites Stage 21: Sprint giants battle it out in Paris

A bunch sprint is the standard finish on the Champs-Élysées. Last year saw Marcel Kittel crush King Cav's hegemony of four wins in a row. The German is the big man if it comes to starting a Cav-like row. (Slideshow route/profile)

It’s the usual procession into Paris with champagne, cigars and celebration but once the circuit is in sight it’s back to the serious business.

Last year Marcel Kittel won on the famed cobbles after four years of Cav dominance. Since Cav abandoned after his crash in stage 1, odds are on for the same scenario. Of course men like André Greipel, Bryan Coquard and Arnaud Démare option for a different script.
