Vuelta 2015 stage 2: Chaves takes stage and leader’s jersey, Nibali disqualified

The stage from Alhaurín de la Torre to Caminito del Rey totals 158 hilly kilometres and brings a steep summit-finish. Surprisingly, Tom Dumoulin and Esteban Chaves are strongest and the Colombian takes both the stage and the leader's jersey. Nibai is expelled after the race because he is towed by a team car after a crash.

Sunday, August 23, 2015 – Stage 2 of the Vuelta leads leads in 158,7 kilometres from Alhaurin de la Torre to the Caminito del Rey. That’s a small footpath next to a perpendicular rock. Luckily enough the finish will not be on that footpath, but on solid roads after a 3.4 kilometres climb at 7%
