Tour of California 2014: Cavendish wins final stage, Wiggins GC

The final stage of the Tour of California is a 122 kilometre criterium in and around Thousand Oaks. Mark Cavendish proved he is still one of the fastest sprinters in the world as he beat John Degenkolb on the line. Fellow Briton Bradley Wiggins takes the GC after finishing safely in the bunch.

Tour of California 2014: Stage 7 – Sagan wins the stage

The 7th stage of the Tour of California goes from Santa Clarita to Pasadena and counts 142,8 kilometres. It could be one for the sprinters but the two hills in the middle may spoil this. Peter Sagan the favourite for this stage outsprints Thor Hushovd and takes the stage.

The 6th stage in the Tour of California leads from Santa Clarita to the top of Mountain High, a hors category climb in 24 kilometres long. On the slopes 24-year old Colombian Johan Esteban Chavez leaves his fellows escapees behind and soloes to victory.
